The new digital age is upon us, heralding a future coming at us like a runaway locomotive. As a result, our world is ever-changing and always challenging. The children of today are the builders of tomorrow—they both need and deserve a skill set that stresses critical thinking and develops a mindset for developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
This session carefully examines a creative thought process designed to foster problem-solving skills and the real-time application of the comprehensive 9D’s thinking model—Define, Discover, Dream, Determine, Design, Deliver, Diagnose, Debrief, and Decide  - a thinking model that can be adapted and applied for learners at any grade level. You’ll see how today’s “just-in-time” learners can employ CDM (Convergent, Divergent, Metacognitive) thinking skills to discover and create effective solutions that can be applied to the everyday challenges of modern life. Participants will be provided with access to an extensive digital library of resources specifically aligned to the Introduction to Critical Thinking Through Real-World Problem Solving.
