Christine Atkins is a Certified AthleticTherapist and Brain Trust’s Youth Concussion Clinic Manager.  Christine is passionate about concussion recovery. In 2016 Christine attended the 5th International Consensuson Concussion in Sport in Berlin, Germany as a contributing author to the article:“Clinical characteristics, referral patterns and time to recovery in youth and adults following a sport-related concussion (SRC)”.Christine has significant experience conducting assessments for clients with concussion and developing careplans. She has worked with many physicians and researchers to understand best practices in concussion care.Christine also served as a non-physician expert in the Acute Sport Concussion Clinic at the University of Calgary Sports Medicine Centre.  Christine is the head Athletic Therapist for Hockey Canada’s National Women’s Team, attending multiple world championships including the 2018 winter Olympics and is a member of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sports Medicine team helping to provide care to rodeo athletes on the international circuit.
